[2/26/26] Claude Code

What the actual fuck?? Nobody informed me that Claude Code is straight wack.

For those that don’t know, the era of AI agents is here. Meaning - giving AI access to your computer - and letting it run rampant. To maximize gains/danger, the new meta is running:

claude --dangerously-skip-permissions

That means Claude can do absolutely anything on your computer. Including wiping your entire harddrive.

And I’m indeed living dangeorusly…

Some things I’ve had Claude (nearly) one-shot:

  1. Compiling a CUDA+cuDSS build of glomap
  2. Populating my new Blender scripting tool ‘bcode’

  3. Speed-writing basic documentation
  4. File management (this is where it truly gets dangerous)

Turns out this thing has been accessible for nearly a year - and I do regret sleeping on it.

There are people buying out Mac Minis running what are called dark factories (a room full of computers running cooperative AI agents completely in the dark (since no lighting is needed)). Coding - along with other types of production - is truly in a new paradigm.

A little unrelatedly, my wife is a doctor and she told me AI-charting is becoming common practice. It’s even referenced in The Pitt. Watch that. It’s good :)
